Ok, its apparent Suzuki didn't import LS400's into the States.
They are probably direct imports from Tokyo, we are good at that.
I live in rural New Zealand, about 2-3 minutes light-wise from the spot which apparently will see the first
rays of sunshine for year 2000. Gladstone in the Wairarapa.
In NZ, Savage 650's circa 88-89 go for $2500 privately, but
motorcycle shops try for whatever they can get.
In the case I looked at it was a tatty and smoking LS650 which
they wanted $3995..
p.s. NZ $ = .5 US $ approximately, so that would have been $2000 US.
